If you try to learn it all, you won’t have time to do anything else. Hire specialists, consultants and sharp employees.

In order to do more business with existing customers, there have to be consistent strategies in place to educate them about new products and services. Some time ago I participated in an intensive Leadership Development program. In this program, the key element responsible for my growth as a leader was the feedback they built into the experience. I didn’t always receive it gracefully, but it changed my life.

Keep in mind that a leader who dominates his team won’t be a very effective leader. That’s why most top students doesn’t succeed in the same manner in the aspect of leading people. This implies that leadership isn’t limited to very excellent individuals. Remember, leading doesn’t require one to be super smart; you just need to learn to be a team player and also learn to strive for self-development. Leading people requires you to work hand in hand with the people under you. This is the leadership style that works best, but don’t hesitate to adjust to a different style depending on the situation.

Specialist versus consultant. Small groups of Consultants have now become groups of specialists – CFO Services, Marketing Services, or Management Services. Specialists are Clients Network leadership who do the work, rather than just make recommendations.

Great importance is given to Leadership Development. Leaders liberally practice trust and delegation. They choose the right persons forvarious tasks. In war they observe fairness. Fighting is suspended during night. Generals and soldiers fight against equals only.

My mind was inundated by a multitude of words I wanted to say to her, but that I did not utter: my parents had educated me well after all. I was thinking to myself: «Please don’t keep my file and don’t ever contact me again!» And «I am being realistic: you really have no idea of what you’re doing and how to match positions with candidates regardless of the recruiter title on your business card.» Quietly, I stood up. She looked offended by my obvious declination of her offer. I did not care. I was not offended though: I was rather amused. I extended my hand, shook hers, thanked her and left.

2) You must learn communication and people skills. This is a people and Leadership Development business. Understand people and you will understand network marketing. There is NO system that replaces people completely. Learn the personality colors or styles. Learn the art of active listening. Understand human behavior. Every wealthy person knows how people think. And definitely consider California closets to get the most storage space out of your closets. You could even do it yourself! Don’t stress too much about keeping your resume down to a single page, but don’t make it excessively long either. These days you’re more likely to be sending your resume by email or through an online form.

Gee… what if I never went past my techno junk pile I found a 1200 baud, 2400 baud and some big floppy diskettes. If you are into Instructional Design, you are into technology by default. Don’t’ resist it, don’t be intimidated, just learn as much as you can absorb in one area. You cannot be an expert in everything. Then find friends that know the other stuff and rely upon their expertise and help in those areas.

Envision your bold enterprise. Visualize your venture and answer the question, «What will this do for me?» Write down in detail the payoff you Clients Network leadership – more money, more free time, more happiness or all three. Embellish your vision with sensory detail. See, hear, taste and feel it. The more real it is to you, the more you’ll believe in your ability to make it happen.
